In celebration of Earth Day, Sanithrift is partnering with multidisciplinary artist and sustainable fashion educator Luisa Hurtado to host a hands-on Sustainable Denim Workshop that brings creativity and circular fashion practices to the forefront.

Hosted inside Sanithrift’s expansive retail space, the workshop invites participants to transform reclaimed denim sourced directly from the store’s inventory into a custom everyday tote. Guided by Hurtado, attendees will learn practical upcycling techniques that extend the life of garments and reduce textile waste — demonstrating how sustainability can begin with what we already own.
